Хвороблива пристрасть до алкоголю, що розвивається внаслідок систематичного його вживання веде до
втрати людиною соціально цінних духовних і фізичних якостей. Починається алкоголізм з епізодичного, а потім і
систематичного вживання алкоголю, що входить в звичку, робить його потребою, а потім досягає ступеню
пристрасті, згубної своїми наслідками.

link between actions and feelings. A person loses the ability to orient in the environment. The notion of goodness, justice, truth are
gradually losing for the drinker its real, concrete sense and losing their meaning.
