Анотація
У статті розглядаються деякі риси бароко та романтизму у прозі Валерія Шевчука, зокрема у повістях «Ілля Турчиновський» і «Петро утеклий».
Consideration is being given to some features of baroque and romanticism inherent in the prose of Valeriy Shevchuk. An attempt has been made to follow the transformation of these features in the texts of two narratives: “Illia Turchinovsky” and “Petro, the Fugitive”. The case in point is a somewhat unusual approach to fiction prose analysis.
