Україна та українці у творчій свідомості Марії Матіос та Діни Рубіної

Стаття розкриває особливості візуалізації України та українців у творчому доробку української письменниці Марії Матіос і російсько-єврейської авторки Діни Рубіної. Підкреслюється, що їх як представників сучасної художньої прози об’єднує зацікавлення національною темою, проблемою національних образів світу. Стверджується, що імагологічний підхід до вивчення та аналізу їхньої творчості є цікавим як для розуміння їхнього літературного доробку в цілому, так і для розуміння образу «свого» та «чужого» в їхніх творах.

Introduction. The article reveals the peculiarities of the visualization of Ukraine and Ukrainians in the creative work of the Ukrainian writer Maria Matios and the Russian-Jewish author Dina Rubina. It is emphasized that they are representatives of contemporary fiction and they both interest in the national theme, the problem of national images. It is confirmed that th e imagological approach of the study and analysis of their work is interesting for understanding their literary works, and for understanding the image of «own» and «other» in their writings.
The artistic heritage of Maria Matios is refered to the «eighties» and the traditional literary school. Dina Rubina is a prose writer who continues the traditions of classical Russian literature and «revises» the spiritual experience of modernism in her writings.
The favorite Maria’s Matios, as well as Dina’s Rubina, compositional reception is the chronology of events that are superimposed on one another. Therefore, sometimes it is possible to understand the plot constantly only after reading the whole story, story lines are constantly crossed. Unlike Rubina, Matios is interested in the feminist context of the problem o f being, but unites their interest human and national issues. History, culture and language determine the national / ethnic identity of the authors’ characters. Originality of our research is that their creatios has never been compared and not identified.
The fate of the «border» people, the events of their lives, and Ukrainian history were also reflected in of Maria’s Matios stories. Dialectal language, customs and traditions, beliefs and ceremonies, religious beliefs make the ethnos of Ukrainian. With the historical background it helps us to understand the national mentality of the characters in Maria’s Matios stories.
Dina Rubina is directly related to Ukraine. In conclusion. unlike Maria Matios, who is interested in the life of the Bukovyna’s village, she to focuses on the topos of cities and towns where events in her stories take place. Her characters travel and live in different countries of the world, particular y in Ukraine.
