Анотація

The paper analyses scientific sources and relevant publications on the topic of research and conducted a survey to determine the level of readiness of educators, and pre-service computer science teachers in particular, for the implementation of STEAM education in the AI era. The authors conducted a comparative analysis of the structures of STEAM competences and artificial intelligence competences for teachers, identified the components of STEAM competences in the AI era for pre-service computer science teachers, and built an appropriate model of STEAM competences considering the impact of AI for pre-service computer science teachers. The paper also contains an analysis of approaches to forming and developing these competencies in training pre-service computer science teachers. The paper indicates the key aspects of their training for using AI in education.
