Філософія похилого віку: екзистенційний та соціокультурний вимір

Abstract

У дисертації подається цілісна концепція «філософії похилого віку» в екзистенційному та соціокультурному контексті як принципово нового напряму наукових досліджень. Феномен похилого віку розглянуто з точки зору міждисциплінарного підходу. Розкрито механізм соціального конструювання стереотипів похилого віку. З’ясовано особливості самотності, сутність вікових та екзистенційних криз людей похилого віку, зазначені шляхи їх подолання та стратегії надання соціально-психологічної допомоги й емоційної підтримки літнім людям у важких життєвих ситуаціях. Обґрунтовано соціальну обумовленість видів допомоги людям похилого віку особистісною спрямованістю членів української спільноти. Досліджено стратегії життєустрою людини похилого віку та зазначено напрями соціальної роботи щодо корегування дезадаптивних стратегій. Розроблена орієнтовна модель соціальної роботи з людьми похилого віку.The dissertation contains a holistic conception of "Philosophy of elderly age" in existential and socio-cultural context as a fundamentally new direction of research. The phenomenon of elderly age is considered from the viewpoint of an interdisciplinary approach. The mechanism of social construction of elderly age stereotypes is revealed. The features of loneliness, the essence of age and existential crises of elderly people are found out; the ways of their overcoming and the strategies for providing social and psychological assistance and emotional support to the elderly in difficult life situations are specified. Social conditionality of the types of assistance to the elderly by personal orientation of the Ukrainian community members is substantiated. The strategies of living arrangements for the elderly are investigated, the social work directions for correcting disadaptation strategies are mentioned. An approximate model of social work with elderly people is developed.
