Інтенсифікація навчанню аудіюванню здобувачів-спортсменів першого курсу на початковому етапі

У даній статті робиться спроба показати один з можливих шляхів інтенсифікації навчання аудіюванню на початковому етапі та придання цьому процесу більшої комунікативної спрямованості. У той же час закладається основа розвитку усіх видів мовленнєвої діяльності, що виражається у формуванні базових вмінь та навичок. Останнє положення має бути доведеним, тому що загальновідомо, що основною метою навчання та сутністю всього навчального процесу є формування вмінь та навичок, що вимагають значного періоду часу. У результаті вміння аудіювання формувались стихійно, в процесі виконання певної діяльності. Тому необхідно, щоб оволодіння основними базовими вміннями аудіювання здійснювались цілеспрямовано. Вочевидь, що це лише перший крок у оволодінні видами мовленнєвої діяльності, і тут потрібно більше часу та зусиль, щоб здобувач-спортсмен І-го курсу у повній мірі оволодів мовленням, аудіюванням, читанням та письмом, тобто, щоб мова стала дійсно засобом спілкування.

The initial stage of foreign language acquisition is fairly considered the most challenging for first-year student-athletes. This is due to the fact that student-athletes, lacking the necessary lexical resources and the skills required to use them in speech, as well as due to the insufficient development of foreign-language speaking skills, are not yet able to use the language as an effective means of communication in the first year of study. In addition, mastering the language at this stage is complicated by significant difficulties caused by the interfering influence of the native language and the lack of extensive experience in learning a foreign language. This article attempts to demonstrate one of the possible ways to intensify the teaching of listening comprehension at the initial stage and to enhance the communicative orientation of this process. Therefore, it is necessary that the acquisition of basic listening skills be carried out purposefully from the first year of study. When the level of formation of these skills and abilities, as well as their range, becomes sufficient for expressing one’s own thoughts and understanding those of others - naturally, within clearly defined boundaries defined by the curriculum for this stage – it is possible to speak of achieving a sufficient level of speech activity. In the conclusions, we identify the possibility of intensifying listening instruction through the formation of basic listening skills at the initial stage of developing the perceptual basis of listening comprehension. It is well known that purposeful and graded development of skills requires less time and effort from first-year student-athletes that spontaneous and integrated development, while yielding better results. Moreover, the implementation of this work at the initial stage should ensure a more balanced and consistent development of listening skills and help to prevent excessive time expenditure on overcoming difficulties associated with the insufficient formation of these skills at more advanced stages. The proposed approach to teaching listening comprehension at the initial stages should provide the pedagogical process with a stronger communicative orientation, since in this case the focus of instruction is shifted to speech exercises performed on the basis of coherent texts.
