Художня модель світу в повісті Леоніда Полтави «Чи зійде завтра сонце»

У статті досліджується специфіка моделювання образу світу майбутнього у фантастичній-пригодницькій повісті Леоніда Полтави «Чи зійде завтра сонце», де гармонійно сплелися космополітизм і націоналізм, утворивши унікальну систему глобалізованого суспільства, що в основі своїй містить національні цінності.

This article describes specificity of modeling the image of the future world in the fantastic story «Will the sun rise tomorrow?» by Leonid Poltava where cosmopolitanism and nationalism coexist in harmony creating a unique system of globalized society that have national values in its foundation. The image of the world is represented on the different levels: chronotopos, interior, landscape, images of the cities, national space, linguistic factor, the categorization of own and alien etc. Topos in the story spans the globe: Ukraine, Russia, France, Iran, England, Germany, Austria, Belgium, USA, Canada, African continent, Mexico. There is a wide national range of characters: Ukrainians, Germans, Russians, Iranians, Hindus, Belgians etc. People in this world coexist in harmony, they know different foreign languages and international languages like Esperanto. There are also detailed descriptions of Kyiv and other localities of the country, for example a way of perception by foreigners is depicted by the image of Edith who arrived at her husband’s Motherland. An important element of representing the new world is open borders. Characters overpass distance and borders on «flying trains», «rockets» without any obstacles. Even a fugitive, Edith’s brother, could arrive from Canada to Germany
successfully and but for dangerous radiation he could have reached Ukraine. The only information space is Radio-World that broadcasts about such global problems like a lack of oil, coal, nuclear energy, etc. An important factor in formation the new globalized world is Ukrainians’ national self-identification and their attitude to an eternal enemy – to Russia. At the same time a human is a supreme value. And the Human’s medal is the highest reward in this world.
