Історія ісламу в Україні кінця XIX - початку XXI століть

В дисертації комплексно досліджено історію ісламу на теренах України наприкінці ХІХ – початку ХХІ століть. На основі поєднання богословських і світських підходів проаналізовано особливості інституалізації мусульманської спільноти та формування ісламського дискурсу в визначений період. Розглянуто обставини інституалізації мусульманської спільноти на теренах України в пізньоімперські часи (друга половина ХІХ – початок ХХ століття), радянський період та часи незалежності. Врахування здобутків вітчизняних та закордонних дослідників на основі винайдених, інтерпретованих і використаних джерельних матеріалів українських архівосховищ, а також особистих архівів українських мусульман дало змогу глибше й об’єктивніше з’ясувати низку аспектів досліджуваної теми, які впродовж тривалого часу були невідомі, замовчувалися або спотворювалися як радянською, так і українською історіографією. Водночас, використання методів соціології та антропології релігії дозволило розглянути сучасну мусульманську спільноту України в контексті її трансформаційних процесів. Мета дослідження визначена з урахуванням наукової проблеми, актуальності обраної теми та стану її дослідження і полягає в аналізі
особливостей інституалізації мусульманської спільноти та формування ісламського дискурсу на теренах України наприкінці ХІХ – початку ХХІ століть.

The dissertation comprehensively researches the history of Islam on the territory of Ukraine in the late 19th - early 20th centuries. On the basis of a combination of theological and secular approaches, the features of the institutionalization of the Muslim community and the formation of Islamic discourse in a certain period are analyzed. The circumstances of the institutionalization of the Muslim community on the territory of Ukraine in the late imperial (second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries), the Soviet period and the period of independence are considered. Taking into account the achievements of Ukrainian and non- Ukrainian researchers and on the basis of discovered, interpreted and used source materials of Ukrainian archives, as well as personal archives of Ukrainian Muslims it became possible to look deeper and more objectively at a number of aspects of the research topic that were unknown for a long time, were hushed up or distorted both by the Soviet and and Ukrainian historiography. At the same time, the use of the methods of sociology and anthropology of religion made it possible to consider the modern Muslim community of Ukraine in the context of its transformational processes. The purpose of the study is determined taking into account the scientific problem, the relevance of the chosen topic and the degree of its study and consists in analyzing the features of the institutionalization of the Muslim community and the formation of Islamic discourse on the territory of Ukraine in the late 19th - early 21st centuries.
