Націоцентрична проблематика у публіцистиці й поетичній творчості Миколи Зерова

Abstract

У статті йдеться про формування М. Зеровим націоцентричної моделі існування в українському культурному просторі. Поезії, перекладацький доробок, наукові та критичні праці свідчать про високий естетичний смак автора, його ерудицію, а звертання до античних мотивів було не втечею від реальності, а прагненням віднайти духовне опертя у більш віддаленому часі.The article deals with the formation of a national-centric model of existence in the Ukrainian cultural space M. Zerov. Poetry, translation work, scientific and critical works testify to the high aesthetic taste of the author, his erudition, and the appeal to the ancient motifs did not escape from reality, but the desire to find spiritual support in a more distant time. The Ukrainian Neo-classics are an etiquette of the small group of Kyiv poets of the scholars, headed by Mykola Zerov. The main criterion that united these intelligent people (mostly professors and teachers of the Kiev University) was the desire not to lose the independence of intelligence, deep respect for traditions, understanding of beauty as a harmony of rational and sensual. M. Zerov’s creativity is important as a document of the era, as well as creativity that arose in extreme times for the nation.
