Архетипна і стереотипна символіка вогню в англійській та українській мовах

Abstract

У дисертаційній роботі запропоновано новий підхід до реконструкції архетипних мотивів й аломотивів, закодованих у семантиці лексем fire/вогонь в англійській та українській мовах; виявлено механізми трансформації архетипних смислів вогню у стереотипні в інваріантно-варіантних лексемах із семантикою “горіння” у складі фразеологізмів англійської та української мов; скласифіковано стереотипні фразеологічні формули з інваріантно-варіантними компонентами, що мають семантику “горіння”, в кожній із досліджуваних мов; встановлено закономірності та відмінності у формуванні архетипної і стереотипної символіки вогню у свідомості носіїв англійської і української мов.The thesis suggests a new approach to the reconstruction of archetypical motives and alomotives in the semantics of the lexemes fire/вогонь in the English and Ukrainian languages; the mechanisms of transformation the archetypical meanings of fire into the stereotype symbols in invariant-variant lexemes with the semantics of “burn” in the phraseological units of the English and Ukrainian languages have been determined; the stereotype phraseological formulas with invariant-variant components that have the semantics of “fire” have been classified in the studied languages; the regularities and differences in forming the archetypical and stereotype symbols of fire in the consciousness of native English and Ukrainian speakers have been defined.
