Зарубіжний досвід використання оздоровчого туризму для осіб зрілого віку

У статті здійснено ґрунтовний аналіз зарубіжного досвіду розвитку оздоровчого туризму для осіб зрілого віку в умовах демографічного старіння населення та трансформації світового туристичного ринку. Висвітлено теоретичні засади формування здоров’я та оздоровчих напрямів, охарактеризовано соціально-демографічний портрет туристів старших вікових груп, визначено їх мотиваційні та поведінкові особливості. Проаналізовано моделі організації санаторно-курортного лікування, профілактичних та реабілітаційних програм у країнах Західної Європи та Азії. Розкрито проблематику та фундаментальні засади оздоровчого туризму, яка широко висвітлена у працях зарубіжних і вітчизняних науковців; роль державної політики, системи медичного страхування та програм соціального туризму у забезпеченні доступності оздоровчих подорожей. Аналітичні звіти міжнародних туристичних інституцій, підтверджують зростання попиту на оздоровчі подорожі серед осіб зрілого віку. Обґрунтовано можливості використання зарубіжного досвіду для модернізації туристично-рекреаційної сфери України.

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of international experience in the development of health tourism for people of mature age, taking into account the demographic aging of the population and the ongoing transformation of the global tourism market. It highlights the theoretical foundations of health formation and the evolution of wellness destinations, while also characterizing the socio-demographic profile of older tourists. Their motivational drivers, behavioral patterns, and preferences are examined in detail, demonstrating the growing importance of tailored services for this age group. Particular attention is given to models of organizing sanatorium and resort treatment, as well as preventive and rehabilitation programs implemented in Western Europe and Asia. The study reveals the challenges and fundamental principles of health tourism, widely discussed in the works of both foreign and domestic scholars. It emphasizes the role of state policy, health insurance systems, and social tourism initiatives in ensuring accessibility and affordability of wellness travel. Analytical reports from international tourism institutions confirm the steady increase in demand for health-related trips among mature travelers, reflecting broader social and economic trends. The article further substantiates the potential of adapting foreign practices to modernize Ukraine’s tourism and recreation sector. It argues for the integration of innovative technologies, digital services, and inclusive infrastructure, alongside the training of qualified personnel. Strengthening international cooperation and promoting Ukraine as a competitive destination for health tourism are identified as key priorities for sustainable development in this field.
