Втрати в українському спорті під час російсько-української війни у ХХІ столітті

Розпочата Російською Федерацією війна проти України триває понад десять років. Українські спортсмени виступили на захист своєї країни. У засобах масової інформації час від часу оприлюднювалися цифри загальних втрат спортсменів у російсько-українській війні, Ця цифра вражаюча і натепер складає 488 загиблих атлетів та тренерів. У дослідженні використані списки загиблих спортсменів з різних інтернет-джерел. Встановлено, що у війні загинули не тільки спортсмени-воїни, але й цивільні та навіть зовсім юні спортсмени. Попри трагічність загальної цифри убитих українських спортсменів, дотепер не робився аналіз втрат за видами спорту. Зроблений аналіз загиблих спортсменів за видами спорту показує, що вони займалися різними видами спорту, а серед них є як досвідчені атлети, які здобували перемоги на всеукраїнських і міжнародних змаганнях, тренери, так і талановита молодь, що була спортивною надією України. Чимало спортсменів за проявлену мужність при захисті країни нагороджені найвищими державними нагородами України.

It was found that athletes who were various sports died: football, American football, motorball, field and ice hockey, volleyball, basketball, handball, rugby, pankration, powerlifting, boxing, Thai boxing, kickboxing, shooting and archery, payball, academic rowing and Dragon boating, rowing slalom, Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, Cossack duel, horting, hand-to-hand combat, sambo, judo, karate, karate-do, jiu-jitsu, free fight, kyokushinkai karate, taekwondo, sumo, kudo, decathlon, sea multi-sports, triathlon, sports orientation, mountaineering and rock climbing, sports hiking and ski tourism, ski racing, snowboarding, biathlon, cycling, tennis and table tennis, swimming, water polo, figure skating, fencing, gymnastics, acrobatics, bodybuilding, arm wrestling, kettlebell sports, shot put and discus throwing, weightlifting and athletics, sports dancing, chess, crossfit and flying disc, parachuting, car and motor sports. Many athletes have been awarded the highest state awards of Ukraine for their courage in defending the country.
