Використання можливостей штучного інтелекту для статистичного аналізу цифрової інформації в фізичній культурі та спорті

У статті проаналізовано сучасні підходи до використання технологій штучного інтелекту для статистичного аналізу цифрових даних у галузі фізичної культури та спорту. Розглянуто можливості алгоритмів машинного та глибинного навчання для автоматизованого збору, обробки й інтерпретації відео-, трекінгових і біометричних даних спортсменів. Описано основні етапи формування аналітичної системи: попередню обробку даних, вибір інформативних характеристик, побудову класифікаційних і регресійних моделей та оцінювання їх ефективності. Наведено приклади використання штучного інтелекту у футболі, баскетболі та легкій атлетиці, зокрема для аналізу техніко-тактичних дій, прогнозування навантажень і ризиків травматизму. Показано, що застосування ШІ підвищує об’єктивність статистичного аналізу та сприяє прийняттю обґрунтованих рішень у тренувальному процесі. Окреслено перспективи подальших досліджень, пов’язані з розвитком відеоаналітики, використанням сенсорних технологій та впровадженням пояснюваних моделей штучного інтелекту у спортивну практику.

The rapid development of digital technologies in sports and physical education has led to the accumulation of large volumes of data obtained from video recordings, wearable sensors, tracking systems, and various monitoring devices. The effective processing of these data requires modern analytical approaches capable of identifying hidden patterns and providing objective information for decision-making. In this context, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have become an important tool for the analysis and interpretation of digital sports data. The purpose of this study is to examine the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence methods for the statistical analysis of digital information in physical culture and sports. Particular attention is paid to the integration of machine learning and deep learning algorithms into the processes of collecting, processing, and analyzing sports performance indicators. AI technologies allow automated feature extraction, classification of sports events, prediction of athletes’ performance indicators, and identification of potential injury risks. The study describes the main stages of the analytical workflow, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, development of classification and regression models, and evaluation of their effectiveness using statistical metrics. Examples of AI application in football, basketball, and athletics demonstrate the practical potential of intelligent data analysis for improving training and competitive activities. The results indicate that the use of artificial intelligence significantly increases the efficiency and objectivity of statistical analysis in sports. AI-based analytical systems allow coaches and specialists to process large datasets faster, identify performance trends, and support evidence-based decision-making in the training process. Promising directions for further research include the development of computer vision systems, the integration of wearable technologies, and the implementation of explainable artificial intelligence (Explainable AI) methods in sports analytics.
