Pulses of scientific life: to the dynamics of the ethnosociological scientific school

The article deals with activities of the ethnosociological scientific school headed by Professor Volodymyr Yevtukh, one of the most successful in Ukrainian research space. The authors trace the conditions of the emergence of the school, outlining the main points of its activities: organizational, scientific and practical principles of its functioning, specific topics that are the focus of its activities. The scientific research of members of the ethnosociological school is based on the phenomenon of ethnicity in its various dimensions. The definitions of key terms—«scientific school», «ethnicity»—are given. The article presents a pool of domestic and foreign researchers of the phenomenon of ethnicity and related problems who participated in school activities at different stages of the existence of the school.
