Дизайнерський конкурс як засіб підвищення професійних компетенцій майбутнього дизайнера костюма

У статті аналізується вплив досвіду конкурсної діяльності на підвищення
конкурентоспроможності майбутнього дизайнера костюма. Позааудиторна діяльність
студентів, які готуються до участі у професійних конкурсах дизайну, вважається
ефективним фактором, що сприяє формуванню незалежності, творчої активності майбутніх
дизайнерів костюма, їх ранньої адаптації в професійному середовищі модної індустрії. Ресурси
проектної діяльності є основою професійних змагань як засобу формування ключових
професійних та загальних культурних компетенцій.

In the article the influence of the competitive activity experience on the increase competitiveness
of the future fashion designer. Extracurricular activities students to prepare for participation in
professional design competitions is considered as an effective factor contributing to the formation of
independence, creative activity of students, their early adaptation in professional environment of the
fashion industry. The resources of the project activity are the framework of professional competitions
as a means of forming key professional and general cultural competencies.
The modern professional education of the future fashion designer in high school is determined by
the needs of society in expanding and diversifying the market for aesthetically expressive clothing that
satisfies the sociocultural and utilitarian needs of consumers. Under the current conditions, the
university is focused on the preparation of a competitive bachelor, striving for professional and
personal self-development, possessing project thinking and artistic taste, capable of adapting in the
modern fashion world and taking place in the profession.
It is known that the competitiveness of a bachelor is determined by the presence of general cultural
and professional competences that are formed during the accumulation of knowledge, experience of
practical (project) activity, awareness of one’s abilities and capabilities. In this regard, the project
activity is an important stage in the training of future designers, synthesizing, in addition to cognitive,
theoretical and educational activities, the elements of transformational, vocational and practical. Such
activities have a certain subjective and objective novelty, value. Moreover, they have a personal and
social significance, contributes to a successful social and psychological entry into the profession. Competitive activity, in turn, involves the presentation (showing) by the future designers of their
own design results at festivals and competitions of various categories, which allow them to adequately
assess their own professional level, develop and improve communicative abilities, broaden their
horizons. Therefore, the designated types of educational and professional activities, in our opinion, are
leading in the formation of professional competencies, and the process and result of design, an open
demonstration of developed collections of clothing allow us to assess the level of their formation.
