Стаття присвячена виникненню та еволюції інституту касації у Франції, його поширенню
у країнах Європи. Роки Французької революції (1789–94 рр.) показані як період набуття
інститутом касації завершених, класичних форм.

Тhis article is devoted to the origination and evolution of the institution of cassation in France, as
well as its spread into Europe. The French Revolution period (1789-94) is shown as the time when the
institution of cassation evolved into its completed classic concept.
