Ambassadorship as a tool for human self-realization in the world of emigration culture

The article examines the pivotal role of emigrants, who by necessity engage in intercultural communication processes in the form of acculturation. Emigrants, integrating into new cultures, bring their cultural heritage to their new countries, preserving their national identity while simultaneously allowing other cultures to learn and assimilate new traditions, languages, and customs. The integration of emigrants into new cultural environments contributes to cultural richness, broadens the cultural horizons of society, and helps to reduce stereotypes and misunderstandings. Their role as ambassadors of their culture helps to build bridges between different cultures and communities, which is a key factor in forming an open and tolerant society. It is important to note that emigrants often act as cultural mediators, drawing global attention to the problems of their homeland and thereby contributing to finding solutions. This underscores another aspect of their valuable role in the globalized world. Thus, emigrants act as cultural agents who carry the ideas of diversity, mutual understanding, and cooperation, strengthening the cultural and social fabric of the global community. It has been found that emigrants consciously and voluntarily choose the role of ambassador, thereby becoming active participants in events where their countries need representation on the global stage. Since 2022, Ukrainian migrants have been actively involved in representing their national culture worldwide, leading to public diplomacy, which has become an effective tool in shaping Ukraine’s positive image globally. Nowadays, Ukraine is not associated with Russia, and people remember Chernobyl less and less, instead perceiving Ukrainians as representatives of a nation of unconquered people ready to fight for their freedom, liberty, and progressive future.
