Становлення системи професійної підготовки у США

Abstract

У статті розглядаються особливості становлення системи професійної підготовки у США. Наголошується, що однією з провідних характеристик системи професійної освіти в США була і залишається орієнтація на запити суспільства. Основною ланкою підготовки висококваліфікованих виробничих кадрів є комунальні (молодші) коледжі. Підкреслюється, що організація професійного навчання у США зорієнтована на постійне оновлення й зміни, які диктує науково-технічний прогрес та потреби ринку праці.The article deals with the peculiarities of the US vocational training system formation. It is noted that one of the major characteristics of vocational education in the United States was and still is a customer service orientation. The basic element of skilled workers’ training is community (junior) colleges. It is emphasized that the organization of vocational training in the United States is focused on continuous changes dictated by technological progress and labor market needs. Polifunctinality, versatility, multilevel and mass training are the main features of the US community colleges.
