Історичне краєзнавство на Києвщині в 1917–1939 рр.

У дисертації висвітлюються особливості, характер та напрями діяльності краєзнавчих осередків на території Київщини. Обґрунтовано тезу про те, що Всеукраїнська академія наук у 20-х роках ХХ ст. відіграла провідну роль у зародженні та розвитку наукових напрямів краєзнавчих досліджень не тільки на території Київщини, а й по всій країні.
Проаналізовано краєзнавчу роботу комісій, секцій, музеїв, бібліотек, освітніх закладів, архівних установ, окремих науковців, громадських організацій у конкретних історичних умовах досліджуваного періоду. Розкрито процес розвитку та занепаду історичного краєзнавства в 20-х–30-х рр. ХХ століття. З’ясовано рівень впливу радянської урядової політики на характер краєзнавчих досліджень.
Встановлено конкретні історичні обставини формування та нищення краєзнавчих осередків. Розкрито масові репресії проти краєзнавців та їхні негативні наслідки для духовності українського народу.

Features, character and activity directions of regional ethnography centers on the territory of Kyivshchyna are ascertained in the dissertation. There has been proved the thesis, that the Allukrainian Academy of Sciences in the 20-s of the XX century has played a leading role in formation and development of scientific directions of regional ethnography researches on the territory of Kyivshchyna, but in the whole country.
There have been analyzed the regional ethnography work of committees, sections, museums, libraries, educational establishments, archival institutions, individual scientists, non-governmental organizations in specific historical conditions within the period which is under investigation. There has been shown the whole process of development and decline of historic regional ethnography in the 20s-30s of the XX century. There has been cleared up the level of influence of government policy onto the character of regional ethnography researches.
There have been determined specific historical circumstances of forming and destroying of the regional ethnography centers. Mass repression against the regional ethnographers and their negative consequences for spirituality of the Ukrainian people have been shown.
