Формування полікультурної компетентності майбутніх учителів початкової школи у контексті глобалізації європейського освітнього простору

простору. Аналізується сучасні дослідження формування полікультурної компетентності у майбутніх учителів початкової школи.

Transformational changes occurring in the political, social and educational society are the result
of modernization of our country in the vector democratization and humanization. The process of
globalization and the contemporary European society predetermine a number of new requirements of
future specialists.
Nowadays our country is characterized by contemporary trends: Ukraine as an independent state
and orientation of the education system within the European educational society. Admission the
national higher education system to the Bologna Declaration provides the higher education reform,
modernization of multicultural training, the creation of multicultural educational environment that
provides the training in the cultural context. Multiculturalism is a basic modern education standards,
based on the fundamental values of European democratic society, human rights, equality, peace, social
justice, democracy, freedom, security, interdependence, pluralism, cultural diversity. In this context of
multicultural competence of specialists is essential for training of the young generation to life in
modern Europe.
The main directions of the globaliization of modern society is the forming of multicultural
educational environment. In such circumstances, the person faces such important issues as the
preservation of their cultural identity and adaptation in a multicultural environment.
The phenomenon of multicultural competence is characterized as integrative component,
reflecting the ability to implement policies of the multicultural space, personal quality that is based on
tolerance, harmonizing its internal peace and respect for the multicultural society based on a system of
multicultural knowledge, skills, interests needs, motivations, values, and provides an effective solution
of professional tasks in the multicultural interaction with various social groups and nationalities.
