Pedagogical Principles of Young Pupils’ Music Culture Formation in Piano Teaching Process

У статті розглянуті питання, пов’язані з особливостями формування музичної культури молодших школярів в умовах фортепіанного навчання. Визначені протиріччя, які існують у навчальному процесі позашкільних спеціалізованих музичних закладів і вимагають їх вирішення. Автором підкреслюється, що одним із шляхів покращення уроків музики може стати перехід на позиції розвивального навчання, в основі якого лежать певні педагогічні принципи, а саме − принципи зацікавленості, свідомості, зв’язку музичного навчання з національною культурою, індивідуального підходу, єдності художнього і технічного розвитку особистості.

Based on the teaching approaches of scientists in the music field, the article focuses on innovated methods, principles, and techniques of teaching music to children in primary music schools. The process of learning music concepts from these approaches is described. The author stresses that knowledge of folk music (Ukrainian, Chinese) in scope and depth through studying a broad range of folk and traditional repertoire. This article provides future Music teachers with new insights into complex musical and technical problems that arise in piano teaching and focuses on modern pedagogical concepts of piano teaching. It includes 1) the teaching and learning environment, 2) tutors and pedagogical materials, 3) pedagogical techniques for young pupils, 4) teaching stylistic awareness in piano repertoire, 5) teaching musicianship through traditional and innovative techniques. The author emphasizes that one of the ways to improve the music lessons can be a shift in the position of developing learning, which is based on the teaching principles.
