It analyzes environmental problems and ecological issues more broadly, focusing on modernization and ecology within the context of greening. Additionally, it studies how these factors influence the development of social quality of life. Importantly, the article examines the link between ecology and economic security as a key component in shaping this concept. The discussion also explores opportunities for acquiring environmental and digital competences, emphasizing their content, target orientation, and importance in forming a new digital personality. Environmental competence and reinterpreted in the context of digital transformation can function not only as a tool to mitigate the challenges and risks of digital communication but also as a personal foundation for digital ecology.
