Освітня політика України у сфері здоров’язбереження дітей та молоді

The article substantiates that gaining independence by Ukraine, democratization of society, transition to market relations created not only the conditions for progress, but also gave rise to problems of transition that affected the health of the younger generation, have created new realities in specifying the priorities of state policy in the sphere of health preservation of a younger generation. There has been proved that in the situation in Ukraine, solving problems of preserving health of young people is subject to consideration of factors such as: legal, socio-economic, cultural, educational factors, coordinating the efforts of all public and private institutions whose activities are aimed at the person, educational institutions of all levels. There has been determined that one of the priorities of modern educational policy of Ukraine is to resolve issues of education of physically challenged people in Ukraine, introduction of inclusive education. There has been substantiated that when developing a modern strategy of education policy of Ukraine in the sphere of children and youth’s health preservation, there should be taken into account, first, the results of the monitoring study of the health of children and young people, its dynamics; second, there has been specified the mechanisms of implementation of broad range of regulations, programs of maintenance of health of the younger generation; thirdly, there has been defined the role of each socio-economic structure (family, education, public health, industrial facilities, sports and recreation organizations, government agencies, civil society, etc.) in solving the problems of protection, preserving and strengthening the health of children and youth in Ukraine.
