Мотивація студентів до оволодіння іноземною мовою в умовах навчальної автономії

У статті розглядаються види мотивації, їх взаємозалежність із розвитком навчальної автономії, а також зв’язок із вивченням іноземної мови й оволодінням комунікативною компетентністю. У роботі описуються результати дослідження, що було проведено на базі різних закладів освіти з метою визначення типу мотивації студентів до навчання, аналізуються відповіді на окремі питання дослідження. Проведена робота показала, що студенти незалежно від закладу освіти та спеціальності, загалом, володіють внутрішньою мотивацією, яка необхідна для вивчення іноземної мови. Пропонуються шляхи залучення студентів до активної роботи, створення ситуацій успіху, зацікавлення і мотивації для сприятливих умов розвитку навчальної автономії.

In the conditions of learner autonomy, the issue of students’ motivation for studying in general, as well as mastering a foreign language arises. The article deals with the types of motivation, their interdependence with the development of learner autonomy, as well as the connection with mastering a foreign language and the acquiring the communicative competence. The article describes the results of the research conducted on the basis of various educational institutions in order to determine the type of motivation of students for studying; it also analyzes the answers to separate questions of the research. The conducted work showed that students, regardless of the educational institution and major, generally have an internal motivation that is necessary for mastering a foreign language. Ways of involving students to active work are offered, such as creating situations of success, developing their interest and motivation for improving the conditions for the developing learner autonomy.
