У статті розглянуто стан усного монологічного мовлення розумово відсталих учнів сьомого класу. Доведено вплив усного монологічного мовлення на оволодіння уміннями читацької діяльності.

The article describes the state of oral monological speech and reading activity pupils’ with mentally retarded (the 7-th form). The author describes an influence of the oral monological speaking on reading activity skills of students.
