Cerebral palsy (CP) is one of the most common causes of childhood disability worldwide and is characterized by persistent disorders of movement and posture resulting from non-progressive damage to the developing brain. Motor impairments associated with CP often lead to limitations in daily activities, reduced participation in educational and social life, and a lower quality of life. Spastic forms of cerebral palsy are the most prevalent and are accompanied by increased muscle tone, impaired motor control, decreased balance, coordination deficits, and gait abnormalities. Therefore, the search for effective rehabilitation approaches aimed at improving motor function and increasing independence remains an important task of modern physical therapy. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of kinesiotherapy in improving motor functions, coordination abilities, balance, and functional mobility in primary school-aged children with spastic forms of cerebral palsy. The study involved 40 children aged 6–10 years diagnosed with spastic forms of cerebral palsy. Clinical, pedagogical, and statistical research methods were applied. The rehabilitation program was based on the principles of kinesiotherapy and included exercises aimed at improving postural control, balance, coordination, muscle strength, gait skills, and functional mobility. The effectiveness of the intervention was assessed using the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM-88), the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS), balance assessment tests, and walking performance indicators. Comparative analysis of baseline and post-intervention data was performed using methods of mathematical statistics. The results demonstrated positive changes in the functional status of children after completing the kinesiotherapy program. Statistically significant improvements were observed in gross motor function, particularly in standing, walking, running, and jumping activities. The participants also showed better balance control, improved coordination of voluntary movements, increased stability during locomotion, and enhanced functional mobility. The greatest improvements were recorded in tasks related to postural regulation and independent movement. The obtained results confirm the positive impact of systematic kinesiotherapy on the development of motor abilities in children with spastic cerebral palsy. The findings indicate that kinesiotherapy contributes not only to the improvement of physical performance but also to increased independence in daily activities and greater participation in social and educational environments.
